Tonight's Blackie
« on: June 15, 2009, 09:37:55 PM »
I see this buck all the time, so I decided to start carrying my camera in the truck. Stupid me took the tripod out of the truck though  :bash: These were taken right around 9:20pm with the 80-400mm VR, but I had to slow down the shutter speed to get enough light, but all I had was the truck window to use as a rest, and of course he wouldn't hold his head still. Here are a few that turned out somewhat decent. How big do you think he will get? The 4th pic is a trailcam pic of him last August.

16" two point!! Lots of those blackies carry that two point gene. He is gaining mass and a little width but nothing else!  Nice buck non the less!!! Keep an eye on him and prove me wrong!!!
