Vernita shutdown?

Heard from a fellow fisher that the state is gonna shut down the area to overnight stays and maybe the launch. Anybody got insight? It's our overnight stop for going to Pullman. Really sucks for folks that travel to fish/hunt there. Can't imagine any reasonable other spot nearby
