Cougar catches an elk calf in the fence
« on: July 11, 2024, 05:01:11 PM »
As much as I hate having an over population of cougars I still love seeing the circle of life unfold sometimes  :dunno:

I get the circle of life, but man I hate when people video this kind of stuff and don’t just shoot the predator.  Hate seeing the babies get torn apart, especially when it’s a pack of wolves.

Can’t open it; guess cuz I’m not a member of most/any of those sites. If it played it how I think it did, bang bang, saved a calf.

No, it's someone filming a herd of elk along a fence pine and a cougar comes running in after a calf and the calf gets away but then jumps into the fence and gets hung up, so the cougar takes advantage and jumps on it. I tried finding it on a web page but can't find it anywhere else.
