This was my first buffalo hunt. What an amazing animal and they don’t taste half bad.  Nothing is easy when dealing with one of these beast.

Great pic and love that rifle!  I too would be interested in your hunt experience. I've been debating a buffalo hunt as my next guided hunt. I'm doing very poorly finding animals on my own here in WA.

The hunt was spot and stalk. This particular bull cost $2500, a friend and I went in half ($1250) each, I got to shoot and I got the head.  Next time it’s my buddies turn.  This was a cool experience.  Hunt was on a reservation in north central Montana.

Shoulder mount and euro mount currently in progress.

These animals are tough and can take some lead.

For quality meat, I wouldn’t shoot one over 4 years old.
