Might look at one of the Primary Arms micro prism sights, not affected by astigmatism.  Just put one on my Traditions and haven't hunted with it yet, but pretty cool sight.

I found this to be true. Hunted with mine last year and harvested a small bull as well. No flaring or glare. Also before season while I was familiarizing myself with the setup I found that i was able to consistently drill a 8" plate at 200 yards by lining up the plate in the middle of the bottom of the chevron.

That would be amazing! I use to feel comfortable and get a good group with the X-150 out to 175 yards with iron sights on paper... Now my eyes are garbage... So I have to sight it in at 50 yards...
I love you... I really do...

It's a winner in my opinion. My two complaints are the view through the optic is more like .95x than 1x and the loss of FOV at reasonable muzzy rifle setup mounting options (basically get it as close to your eye as possible). I love the etched reticle, clarity, and adjustability.

Good question. Not sure I've ever even seen any primary arms stuff at a retailer.

I bought straight from primary arms website, it was the same price on their site as it was on midways.

My issue is I need to look through the scope before I purchase it... I had a muzzy accident at 17 and wear corrective lenses because of it... Don't wanna order something to return it and deal with all that... I miss the regular shopping days when everything was available in front of you...

Appreciate that! I was just down there a couple months ago to check on a property with a friend in Chehalis... And they cancelled the Chehalis derby a few years ago so who knows...
