I normally don't post about this, but man, someone needs to this year. 2025 marked my 12th consecutive HH. We enjoyed great weather and exceptional views for the whole trip, which (predictably) made the hunting pretty slow. Despite that we found some animals and I was fortunate to notch my tag on another high country buck (my first in velvet) on the final evening of our hunt. I come home from this trip every year with a renewed love and respect for the wilderness. I am thankful for the time spent with my favorite people in the mountains. After all, you only get so many September 15ths.
