Late Season archery elk
« on: November 04, 2025, 01:54:29 PM »
Looking at switching areas for late archery elk. Have been hunting unit 342-Umtanum for the last 3 years with no success. This is the area that my group has always hunted and we know the area well, but I am tired of not having any opportunities. I have hunted unit 335 - Teanaway for early and I like that area, but I don't know how it is for the late. Does anyone hunt this area for late season? I like it because it is cow and spike. Just curious about the success rate in that area.
thanks

Harvest reports are on line. Also check out 336 if it's open for late it's a big unit with lots of elk

Unfortunately 336 is not open for late archery. Success for 335 is much better than where we normally go

342 would be one of the better units that I would focus on. You won’t find a unit with many more elk than there  :twocents: I would just adjust what you’ve been doing if you’re not finding them.
