As per previous conversations with our vet have short straight intestines and colon, and are descended from animals that eat rotten meat for a living. They are really good at pooping away the problem, and starting fresh.

After three plus days, maybe see your vet?  Take a sample?

You can also not feed for 24hrs and give a portion of their meal the following day, working up to their daily meal amount.

Same way you can get it.  Drinking water from a mountain stream.
Why do you think they call it beaver fever.

My dog gets into the yard mushrooms this time of year and it's caused problems in the past.  No sodium chicken broth is something my dog rarely turns down but she's a lab, so if she's not eating, it's usually hospital time...  Activated charcoal is something the vet might try and you can source it way cheaper on the net.

Our last emergency visit was for what looked like an old mouse-pad ball?  I never saw her eat it and had never seen it before.  It was round and very hard.  It wouldn't pass or puke, so they had to go get it.

I suggest you ave your dog seen by your Vet. This could be the start of Parvo. I've had 2 dogs that got Parvo, though they were fully vaccinated. Sadly, both passed. Another thought is Salmon poisoning. Have they had access to dead salmon? Hope this helps.

I took this to mean it would be easily spread from a sick dog at home to other pets and potentially humans. The fecal matter spread via diarrhea would be full of giardia bacteria which would infect soil, other surfaces it touched, then dogs feet, potentially pets' water, etc making it pretty easy to spread. It only takes a microscopic amount.
Charlie Kirk didn't speak hate, they hated what he said. Don't get it twisted.

Here’s the update on the squirting situation:

There was no improvement so I took him to the vet yesterday.  Got a stool test, full bloodwork and exam.  Bloodwork looks great, nothing unusual found in the stool.  Course of treatment is:
    Prescription food for 5 days (Hill’s Multi-Benefit w/d)
Prescription prebiotic/probiotic (Purina Proplan FortiFora pro)

After 1 day it looks like things are firming up.  He’s feels much better, almost back to his old self.

Good to hear. Never fun to spend money, but at least you know it’s not a parasite or similar
