NICE ONE!!!

What our wives go through for us.  One time in Virginia, I had my wife help me carry a wild boar into the house to put in the chest freezer, because it was Sunday and none of the processors were open.  In her dressing gown helping me on......Mother's Day!!   :chuckle: :chuckle:

Had the wolves hit my line hard today and I wasn’t expecting it 😜 Found a spot that two deer (two different packs) were killed and completely demolished. I had time to come home, grab some gear, fresh dog bedding out of one of my female Aussies pens and go make a double “dog bedding set” I’ll add a T-bone set after work this week too.

I have them both on the same chain (Y chain set) so it’s one and done but I’d be stoked with that. I’ll make a T bone set 40 yards from this one on my first check too.

What’s left of a deer, few other pieces over the hill… We had a warm spell Friday/Saturday. I was up there on Thursday and this wasn’t there, it’s right on a logging road! Guessing two days old.

If you have any snares you might want to set them around the perimeter, when one wolf gets caught others will circle the caught wolf. Good luck, looks like a great set.

Nice Teacherman.

I agree with BearPaw. I would surround that area with snares, and get them coming and going!

This spot doesn't really have that ability, actually pretty open, which helps the wolves feel more comfortable. You will notice you always see tons of sign on wide-open logging roads. They are pretty safe on them. BUT I have put down quite a bit of steel in the area, including a few dozen snares.

The price skunks are bringing at the auctions I’d take that over coons or coyotes !
Nice catch
