Tis The Season

As a father i have spent a lot of years teaching my boys to fish and the reward is the best fishing partner in the world. At 14 this kid is on fire. Only problem is he's out fishing me now. Went out to a local river not expecting much but a good time and he hits this along with some pretty good sea run cutties. Its a weird felling to be proud and think F you at the same time!! For the fish police this was only pulled from the water for a picture and released.

Nice fish. My father didn't fish much or hunt at all. He was busy feeding our family and working 16 hours a day, besides likely having PTSD from WWII. Your son is lucky to have a dad who teaches him some of the fun things in life.
