Are all case trimmers created equal?

The last thing I need is a case trimmer, I’m going to get a manual one since I just reload for precision rifle and I’m not reloading 1000’s of rounds.  Are they all created equal?  I’ve been looking at RCBS’s version, the trim pro-2 which is what i think I’ll get. Is there something better?  Thanks in advance

I have a stupid rcbs hand crank that I have come to HATE.  I typically do 100-150 cases at a time and a couple really nice blisters.  I just upgraded my scale to a Autotrickler and next is a decent automatic case trimer.  I am done hand cranking.

I used a trimpro for years, IMO the Wilson is night and day better. A bit more time consuming maybe but worth it unless you're doing a ton of different headstamps or mass volume. Also pay the extra for the micrometer

Thanks, between you and crunchy this is good info.  I’ll look at the Wilsons.

I have a Forster.  As good as any hand units IMO.  Get the 1/4" hex drill attachment though.

For a couple volume bottleneck cartridges I like the Little Crow mounted in the drill press.

I have a new in box Redding 2400 I'd make you a heck of a deal on if you're interested and if I can find it I think I still have a new or near new Wilson trimmer somewhere in my misc. stuff.  Make you a good deal on either or both if you're interested and if not no worries.

I have been using the Hornady trimmer for years, works great with a 1/4" drill adapter.
As mentioned the Little Crow trimmer works great for higher volume trimming.

I've long felt the camlock on the Hornady to be an improvement over most "lathe style" trimmers.  Can't say as I've personally used one though.

I have been using the Lyman Xpress electric trimmer since 2022, and I am happy with it. It’s really fast. I used the RCBS hand trimmer for 30+ years, so it was time for an upgrade😂
