I'm glad they are doing it.  Make people get a little skin in the game if you're going to apply.  Hopefully that drops the number of applicants.
200 dollar non refundable license wasn't skin in the game?
This is a cash grab that they realized they could add on.  Honestly I think it'll keep increasing it until the applicants level off or decrease....they're trying to find how far they can take it before the demand levels off or drops.

Not really, there is a HUGE population of hunters that are playing the western states game to the tune of $4K - $10k a year. A $200 license is nothing.
i get that.
i apply and hunt idaho.  my post was saying that 18 dollars on top of the 200 already there for the license isn't really making anyone "put skin in the game".
