Don't understand why east siders always ask where you from?  I always say goldendale now.  They are a lot more friendly if you tell them that than the west side.  I'm from southwest washington though and i always complain about the city guys hunting where I hunt.  Does that make me a big of a jerk as some eastsiders?  Maybe i'm just a  hypocrite.

Did he tell you that you had a pretty mouth?  Did you hear music that resembled dualing banjo's   :o :o :o

I was gonna reply "Did he hear banjo music?" but somebody beat me to it!  :chuckle:

Seriously, Washington State has an "Open Carry" law, which means you can carry a handgun "in the open" at ANY time. Its carrying it CONCEALED that requires a permit.

M_ray-Get used to it! Folks over here don't like folks from "over there", hehehe. The ONLY thing hated more are kalifornian's!!!   :tung:

We like guns an purty girls, and have a few ourselves, we just don't want any west-siders lookin' at our wemonfolks!
By the way....You got a purty mouth???  :IBCOOL:

Come on over! I'm confused too, not sure what I am :dunno:  30 years in Okanogan Co. and last 7 1/2 in SW Wa.  So who do I belong to?  I hunt deer back home in the Okanogan, and elk here at home in SW Wa.  Treat the land and people with respect, a person ought to be welcome anywhere, I guess.

Littletoes ... I am used to it I spend allot of time there and it is that kind of attitude that is more annoying than anything else ... kinda like being on the 8th day of a 10 day hunt and your A$$ just could use a clean scrubbing cause your sphincter itches and no matter how hard you try to stick your finger up there you can't get any relief! But it doesn't stop you from finishing your hunt.

I know all about the east side my mom was born in Oroville I have family East Not to mention some of the nicest people I've met are on the Eastside. Why do you think I spend most my time off there? Besides it's not all the Eastsiders that are like that just the ones that sound retarded when they talk like that. You better be more careful when you post or some might get you cornfused wit thems kinds.  ;)

Let me ask you this, what do you have to Hate me for anyway? Just because I don't live where you do? I think you are in the minority when you say Eastsiders HATE Westsiders some of my best friends live in Eastern WA and they are smart enough to understand that where a person chooses to live doesn't determine their character.

So do I ... We're more alike than you think!

Oh and BTW Census staticstics prove that on average there are more nonresident transplants entering WA from back in the Mid West and East than from California anyway, But that must be OK with you cause apparently a person gets smarter the farther East they come from!

No complaints here comeon over you're welcome anytime! I think you would be surprised how difficult it is to hunt a trophy blacktail probably more difficult than hunting a big muley!

my only beef with the "206er's" has been situation specific. the *censored* that would rather pay the ticket than pack that runt mule deer out of the kettle crest was straight off the coast. he rolls up to a foot traffic only area and parks the 3 axle toyhauler and takes the rhino and a quad up the trail cutting blow downs so he can get a round the sign.....the no motorized vehicles sign. he gets a warning and a ticket and does it again....nice, real nice.

another time a guy drops a pretty decent forkie. he is nervous as all get out, I told him I can't help you out of here because of the antler requirements, but wished him the best....guess where he was from.

I suppose it is the eastside opportunity that gives us a higher opinon of ourselves. I can go out and shoot coyotes every day of the year and all I am out is an hour and $5.00. I think we tend to view most west side guys as sitting in line at starbucks in the beemer.....or lifted d-max with 20 window stickers, and that being the recreation for the coast.

with that said there are MOSTLY decent hunters on this site. I would hunt with most of the guys here. truth be told you can learn from everyone you meet, some teach you what to do.....other teach you what not to do.

Its not ALL west siders, nor is it ALL east siders, as with everything, its a select few that screw everything up for everyone.

I personaly think I see more east siders drinking and raising hell at hunting camp, instead of hunting. I don't mind guys letting off a bit of steam, getting drunk while in hunting camp, I just ask they be courtious to other camps that may be close by. If you drink, leave the guns alone.

Your guns should be sighted in BEFORE you come to elk or deer camp. Please don't shoot around MY camp. I'm there to hunt, and the only shots I want to hear are those fired at game animals. Don't shoot tweety birds if they ain't on the menu's...etc. etc....

The east side/west side thing for me??? I think the voting record holds the truth for me. There's quite a few more liberals over on the west side than over here.

But we have so many transplants over here, it just doesn't matter anymore, and the funniest part? Most that come over here for hunting season, ARE HUNTERS! ;)  They have guns, and want to keep 'em. That makes them like us.

What amazes me, how far folks will come to hunt, and how much they will spend. That gives me a bit of respect, and anyone that runs into me in the woods can truly say that I personally always help out fellow hunters.
Thats not totaly true, if you are breaking the law, like said above (entering closed to motor rigs areas, with a rig, etc.) I won't help you, hell I may even call the State Patrol, or better yet, the local Game Warden...I did go to school with her.

Maybe its the fact that they spent so much, they DESERVE a game animal and bend the rules a bit? I don't think so. I've been skunked as much or more than the next guy, its called hunting, thats why we're out there.

Perhaps city folks don't think like country folks.......?

I'll address Highcountry first,

my only beef with the "206er's

The same thing has happend to me and it was an Eastsider ... so it happens both ways.

another time a guy drops a pretty decent forkie. he is nervous as all get out, I told him I can't help you out of here because of the antler requirements, but wished him the best....guess where he was from.
Same thing here I hiked 2 miles out of my way to get the license plate and report it the way we all should to help stop this kind of stuff and after the warden visited the guy at his house in YAKIMA he called me to tell me he didn't ticket him. " The buck had a 3rd point ya know" Ya if you want to call it that I said the Game Regs. state clearly it must be AT LEAST AN INCH. Well put it this way if the regs would have read at least 1/4 of an inch it still would have been illegal!
Theres way more to this story but I'll end it with and to top it of he was with his young son so what is he teaching the next generation of hunters?
And another thing:
-I don't live in the city I can shoot coyote's right out my back door if I want
-My F-250 Powerstroke isn't lifted, My wiener isn't that small!
-Don't spend my money at Starbucks (wish I could get my wife on board with that but I'm working on it) the rat *censored* sold the Sonics away to OK.

And Finally I agree with ya

From what I understand it IS!!! so stinkin THICK!! Ive hunted whitetails in that crap and its tough.

My dad had a branch bull stolen from him during muzzleloader season by two coastie but eastsider might do that too. he shot it in the lungs and was reloading adn waiting for it to bleed out when he heres a BOOM!!! and goes down there to see two guys standing there and the bull with a hole in its head and the hole my dad made in the lungs with a ton of blood. He left as their isnt much he can do but later on saw them packing it out in black plastic garbage bags haha.

I'm not sure I trust you here...

Yesterday you would have just as soon put a bullet in my butt and send me back to the wetside!

I thought I warned you about your post's ... now you do sound like the retards I was referring to.

Oh and another thing...
I am not a liberal
My gun is sighted in before I get to camp (I belong to a gun club)
I don't f with my guns when I have been drinking
I eat what I shoot (unless it's a yote)
and my camp is allways cleaner than when I arrived!

uhmmm I so god damn good if you didn't know where I lived you'd think I was an Eastsider!!!!!

you would think 509'ers (I lived in the Dry sh#tties for a few years...do I count?! Can I get an AMEN for Burbank?! LOL) would be happy that we are from the 206/425/360's...since we are hunting and not anti's out to get hunters. It's ok though...im just happy to be out in the woods/sage.
