They don't care about your spot ,GMU, permit, they got the footage, views, all that.
Basically they are off to the next spot ,just the way it works now.
You have to learn to adapt in the same way, find a new ,better spot quickly.
Then you don't have to worry about this garbage, they can show all the landscape pictures they want. Cause I'll just move to a new area , sometimes a better area.

Permits areas ..... don't care ....we all got a shot at drawing.
Youlube,instascam,book of faces,.....don't care ....I'll find a new spot.

Yes I agree ,a lot of fishing and hunting holes are dried up,cause of SM.
Gotta adapt find new water or dirt to play on.
Discretion is mute ,cause most already know about.
One big buck ,5-10 hunters already have a cam pic....lol
It's not something that can be stopped.

When you see your spot in a video,it sucks.
You'll see long range pop shots, waiting months to retrieve a camera, cause someone is always there. It's definitely a bummer, but you gotta move on .

Just have to look where the high bids are.   :dunno:  :peep:
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.

I agree with Knock Knock as well... In my mind you could walk through the whole trail system of the Colockum on video and post everything on youtube with trail markers and it means absolutely nothing to me... Just another hike... The 400" bull is going to be where he's going to be... Not where the last one was killed... Now there are certain places that I would always go to and get into elk... But you can't not get into elk there... It's impossible... Now there are other areas I elk hunt... That if you don't know them... You aren't going to see many elk or be actively hunting around elk... It may look like it from the sign you see... But you'll never catch them in those areas during daylight... The Colockum isn't like that... It's easy to hunt elk there! Hard to draw a tag... Why do you think a lot of natives leave the rez and hunt there?
I love you... I really do...

It makes to sense to say that we can have more advocacy without particular promotion or publishing but, I think that time or at least that season is over.  We are no longer in a world of secret spots. Every nook and cranny is wide open for anyone to see with a sky high 3D, and historical perspective. While spot burning is an issue, I do now see the current culture being able to separate publishing their hunts to reach "people" which are the same people we need to reach to increase advocacy.  To say we can have one without the other isn't genuine, however, we also can manage to not throw the baby out with the bath water.

We don't want more boots in our spots. We do want more boots kicking down the political doors though.  Somewhere there is a balance. Somewhere. Is part of the price we pay have to be more publicizing? I don't know. I do know, the current culture and our future hunters are and will be tuned in to more access to more media related to our coveted activities.
