1st timer looking for advice.
« on: April 10, 2026, 09:18:45 AM »
Just picked up my license for this year and wanted to chase some turkeys for the first time this year.

I’m planing to drive to and hunt area 108 (Stevens county) and I’m looking at some DNR areas around kettle falls area.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated, I’m not familiar with the area or turkey hunting.

Got a few callers, got camo and a good patterning load. Outside of that I’m going in pretty fresh

You're on the right track... I've never hunted turkeys there but I'm sure you'll do way better than I consistently do in 368! Way more turkeys... Good luck!
I love you... I really do...

Bear Paw's Guide Service ( Site Sponor/and Dale the owner is the site owner) was offering (for a fee) a map of "good" areas.  They are out of Colville. I would check their website.
May that for which I prepare never come to pass.

:yeah:
I would DM Dale @bearpaw it may take a while he's busy with hunts in Idaho. I've hunted with his Guide Service they are top notch.
