I think I remember they can't be left unattended over an hour.

Glad to see you get into them Jerry.  We got into them first thing,  then left and went for Rios, and blew it on those.   Still fun and learned some new spots.

I might have let him get about 10 feet from me before I'd turn a shout. Don't think I would have the stones to let him get that close.

Be careful out there.

That would make me PUCKER!! a little

Years ago while hunting turkeys with two of my sons, a cougar was putting the sneak on one of my sons who was calling turkeys. My other son, who was further down the ridge luckily spotted the cat and fired a shot in the air before the cougar could close the distance on my son doing the calling. I never saw the cougar that day but another time I did see her and she was a monster in size. We found a fresh deer kill in the same spot covered with leaves.

2 birds on the opener by myself.  I haven’t hunted alone in many years so it was actually quite fun. Had two days to myself and then eight more tags to fill. Got five days in.  Shot my second bird in a snowstorm up top where I couldn’t see hardly 100 feet  and was in T-shirt and shorts four days later.  ha ha
