2026 Spring Bear, North Idaho
« on: April 26, 2026, 09:37:27 AM »
I've got 2 baits out so far.  One of the baits got hit the first night, the other one took about 5 days to get hit, but it now has 4 b ears on it.  The other bait still only has 1 bear coming in sporadically.  Nice one showed up last night.

Love your yearly spring bear thread.  I live vicariously through your pics and videos as i dream of being able to bait bear in WA.  I know.....nightmares are dreams too though....WA will never let us bait.   :bash: :bash:

Keep the videos and pics coming.  Hope you find a nice fat one to put in the freezer.

Me and my brother are heading out for spring bear in north Idaho this weekend. We’ve never done it before but seeing your videos give us hope that we can maybe get an opportunity.

First off, not my bear, but awesome day yesterday.  My Physical Therapist is into hunting.  Young lady, whom I affectionally call my Princess of Pain.  Her and her husband sat in one of my stands yesterday and her first ever big game animal was a young color phased boar.  So happy to have been involved.  She used my Winchester .308, Model 88.  Smoked him, he ran about 65 yards.
