You are welcome.  I wrapped up the RH one and put photos ar the link.

These were fun, I’m glad folks got something out of the posts I made on them.  I was in a downright ornery mood when I first started in on them or I probably would have posted more on how to do something with deep corrosion damage beneath blister rust.  I don’t have a real junker right now but I’ll keep my eyes out for something fun that is badly corroded.  There is all kinds of stuff out there on bead blasting or using coatings but that’s about it.  Not that those are not perfectly acceptable methods, but draw file and block polishing can also work out in a lot of cases where people think it wouldn’t.  Both of these were hit pretty hard, they came out fine.

Here are a couple photos of the RH one, the receiver got it bad.  There are about 20 more at the link.

Turned out to be a nice looking pair of rifles.  God bless the guys who came through with a TG for the RH one, the pair of original receiver sights and a fist full of magazines. I bought a butt plate off eBay and the stock blanks from Gunville, CZ 457 takedown screws are the same pitch and I’m swimming in them.  I had figured in another $300 when I started and that would be with just a single magazine for each.

T-bolts are generally ridiculously accurate, if we decide to put scopes on them I know I have at least a couple orphan baby Redfields and plenty of 7/8 rings.  My oldest daughter is left eye dominant, she shoots á RH Anschutz Smallbore rifle, but LH with everything else.

It’s always kind of a let down to wrap up a project like these two.  Of course I’m anxious to see how they turn out, but a lot of my enjoyment comes during the time I spend working on them.
