Hey WDFW - you DON’T sell preference points!
« on: May 21, 2026, 10:02:56 PM »
Stop misleading the customer.  Do it one more time and  I am calling the AG!  You offer BONUS points.

A preference point as defined gives an applicant preference over another with fewer points.  That is not how your draw works.

Thought they was called sham wow points.
Like not selected points , or like extra points with the football hitting the upright every time.
Don't worry about the points ,big picture is the false entity date,so more advertising can be sent out.
No more hardmore store sales , you'd think they could make it convenient.
Fact is ,draw deadline has come and gone, isn't that false advertisement in it self.
I can't even remember when the last year they actually hit the deadline and did the draw.
Might as well make the deadline , January 1 with a four mouth extension....lol
Let's make deer/elk permit for Eastside,so we can miss that deadline too.
Bet they didn't miss that multi-season deadline, ohh ya they'll just sell leftovers.
Make sure our wildlife has been ran into the ground before winter,so when the big winter happens. Large portions of deer have been hunted for four months, don't have the fat reserve after a drought summer. PERFECT👌WE CALL THAT CONSERVATION.
While idaho/Oregon have spring bear hunts, Washington bears rip fawns from moma tits.
I guess don't have to worry about cougar permits EVER ,cause quota would be met before they could do a draw deadline.....lol....PERFECT👌

If you think about it ,large portions of licence sales started each year with spring bear,or spring cougar hunts, then Turkey and so on.....A lot of die hards already paid out to WDFW before knowing anything about the upcoming season. Kinda a foot in the mouth when bear and cougar population can sustain, now we extend deadlines for that very last sale. The guys waiting for the hard copy of the regs are the same dudes buying at the hardware store. So we are waiting for nothing now.

I'll shut up now, rant over , probably not selected for me.
Cause of my big mouth, but I continue to buy into it less and less till I leave this state.
Sorry for the rant, I'll bet our commission came up and approved the draw deadline, well sorry WDFW. I forgot about our highly organized, know everything about conservation.... commission.
I thinks I'm gonna call the points.......SCAM-WOW points....

After the deadline, they should only be able to buy/sell scam points. They should have to run the draw with folks that met the deadline.
How many advertised emails after the deadline, before we have scrapped every dollar, before we can have a draw .
