you know, i didn't happen to see anything like this in the small game/bird hunting regs for this year.  i don't plan on hunting any big game this season...
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

I'm sure animals/game are differentiated from birds. It should be assumed I would think.

according to the big game regs in the defintions section WILD ANIMALS: Include all mammals except feral domestic mammals and old world rats and mice. WILD BIRDS: All species of birds that exist in washington in the wild state. so i would assume based on the defintions that no you can't hunt rabbits but birds are ok. I guess you could just say you thought the rabbit was an old world rat don't know if that would work or not
