a good trail camera under $200
« on: July 05, 2009, 09:30:33 PM »
whats the best for under $200?? my buddy lost mine but paid me back for it. and i just sold my mountain bike for $100. but, im also thinkin about putting towards a Rino 120. i used my dads last year and loved it. or, i might try to buy an SKS from a  friend of mine.. i dont know which to get yet.. i had a bushnel that i bought from walmart, and it worked pretty damn good. no problems at all. im not too worried about how clear the pictures are, as long as i can count points.

Cabelas in Lacey has had some good prices on some back at the bargain cave. they might still have some. you shouldn't have a hard time finding one for under 200 that is good quality. Keep an eye on ebay. if you are patient you will find a good one.

Bushnell trophy cam.  $199.00 for the black one, and it is awesome for the $.  Lite, small, easy to use, batt.life is awesome, great quality pics, and fast trigger speed.

thanks for all of your help guys. i might end up buying and sks from a friend though. thats if he takes my offer.  i could probably resale it for more and have even more money for a trail camera, or a trail camera and some money towards a GPS.

i cant remember the model of the one i had, but it was a bushnell, and it had the infared for night time, and it would also do video clips. i bought it from walmart about 2 years ago. i wanna say it was around $120??

do the D40's have infared? and how is the trigger speed? i guess i can just google it.. but would like your thoughts aslo
