No out of state tag yet, but thinking about getting my butt back up to Alaska on the old stomping grounds for a moose and a caribou

Paid that this year for Idaho, elk tag $416.75, deer $301.75, Hunting Lic $154.75, plus a bear tag at $186=$1059.25, plus a baiting permit, archery permit, muzzle loader permit, and all the Jr. Mentor lic, I got over $1200.  Worth every penny to, IMO.

Goin to Oregon.  My buddy across the river is going hunting for the first time, so i told him I would eat the cost on an outa state tag.  Getting started is pretty expensive, as he is finding out.  Are the Oregon tags really going to be $1000 dollars next year for out of state??  If thats the case I won't be hunting there again.

We had 10. haven't seen the stats yet but I would imagine everyone with 9 or more and maybe some with 8 got NR tags.
