traditions tracker
« on: August 12, 2009, 09:54:56 AM »
I have a traditions tracker I bought this winter brand new I shot it yesterday for the first time. I had a hard time getting any kind of a group. I was shooting power belts 295 grams and 100 grams of pedox 50/50 pellets.
Has anyone had any luck with any thing out of this gun? I was also using musket caps.

Seems like I hear more and more how some guys dont get good accuracy from powerbelts. I have shot them out of a couple of guns and never had issue with them. :dunno: Try loose powder and maybe a smaller charge.  :dunno:

From what I understand the power belt bullet is under sized. The only part that's touching the barrel it the plastic piece on the back. I've heard of guy's bumping there gun on something and having the bullet fall out the end of the barrel. Switch your bullet to something like th Hornady sst bullets w/easy load sabots. Or try the all lead Dead center bullets. They shoot great out both my T/C Black Diamond and my Bighorn. If you use the SST bullets you should switch to the loose powder, or you should buy the High pressure sabots.

Good Luck
It's not the size of the trophy that make's it a trophy.

You may just be one person in this world. But you may be the world to just one person.
