Fishing with my daughter and the grandkids
« on: July 31, 2009, 10:26:55 PM »
Had a stellar day!
Grandson is 2+ let him help reel in a couple of pinks and one dog then he lost interest as there were too many fish to throw rocks at and poke with a stick.
My daughter and I probably caught and released a couple of dozen...flies and gear. Wonderful day to be out and about in; sunny, lots of fish and with the family.

I'll post some pictures later of the fish, scenery and of course the kids.

Got up at 0430 and fished until 1000. Had a ball lots of pinks and dogs in the river we went to today. Hooked up on about every 10-15 minutes legally and lots of snagged fish but we were able to drop most off if the barbs are off.
Not sure what to do tomorrow, fish or go on a whale watching tour.

Another good day out fishing. We were blessed with some cooler temperatures, lots of salmon in the river, fresh berries to eat and some good bear sign to keep us honest in the woods.

I promise to post some fishing and scenery pictures soon.
Decided to bag the whale watching tour...I've seen plenty commercial fishing and on another tour out of Whittier, AK.
