I thought that would get your attention hehehe. OK so here is my question I am interested in hunting the packwood area for a big buck and my daughter at the ripe old age of 12 has become a enthusiast of hunting wants to go. Any help with directions to the woods huntable woods that is would be of great help. PLEASE!!!!!!

You may want to try where there are lots of trees. Yea, I've heard they hangaround in the tree areas. You may want to get a good topo map, take some time off and do a bit of scouting in different areas. My bet though is treesy areas, yup.

Problem is they bark alot!

I would gladly give you some road numbers to check out, but cannot remember any and have not hunted the area in better than 10 years.

in the meantime I keep wandering the woods and berry patches looking for critters......so if you like walking a lot and picking stickers out of your hands and clothes and there is nothing like moss and grass awns in your bra

then I have some great spots

theirs plenty of areas to hunt up around packwood. get your self a gazetteer and hit the national forests. good camping spots up there too
