Area 11 salmon today

Left early this morning and dropped the boat in at Pt. defiance to do some salmon fishing. Never been out there before so i just kinda looked for other boats and fishy looking areas i guess but ended up with a couple hook ups and one nice hatchery silver. Pinks everywhere on the surface but no luck... Prolly not doing it right though it seemed everyone was right up on the beach casting buzz bombs and the like while i was trolling out a bit further with flasher hoochie combo... Nice fish and a nice day on the water though not much more to ask for

Not really i was kinda expecting it to be with what i had been told about the place... there was no wait to launch with them having like8 ramps there and certain areas had a few boats stacked up but didnt seem to bad though it was a thursday. Good luck if you do hit it. Im real tempted to sneek up there again in the next couple days if i can with the buzz bomb set up i saw everyone had
