please reference my phrase "small Brant" meaning around Mallard size but because they resemble a brant, I thought the correlation was apropos.
Introduce someone new to hunting this year.

Yep, it's a summertime Harlequin hen.  This one in the attached image was photographed about 8 weeks ago.
