7 year old coyote killer
« on: September 04, 2009, 04:18:00 PM »
Hello all, my son is 7 years old and want's to kill a coyote so bad it's all he talks about. He has passed his hunter safety, has a valid small game lic and is a crack shot. They call him dead eye dick at the local gun range!I'm looking for a little help on finding an easy place to go in northern sno county. He went bear hunting with me a little while ago but didn't get a chance to shoot at any coyotes while there.Rabbits and grouse but no coyote.I would like to find  someone with private land who wouldn't mind hooking a little boy on hunting. We are willing to pay a reasonable fee if so desire.I'm amazed at how much of our state is privately owned.Over half it says.So please help me out if you can .I am a former Marine if that means anything so calling all Devil Dogs. HELP!We are very clean and respectful people and won't leave any thing behind except a great time. All rules and personal preferences will be respected.Of course even if you don't own land any help would be greatly appreciated so feel free to post what you can.I know how closed mouthed people are about hunting spots I can only hope that helping to shape a young hunters dreams will mean as much to you as it does to me.We promise not to tell anyone that you are really a big softie on the inside.Lot's of us have memories like this from our first hunts.Remember how exciting shooting groundhogs at grandpa's farm was.Well no grandpa with a farm now, seems like hunting gets harder and harder.Well enough said thank you all for taking the time to read this.

                                                   Thank you.

If you get bored, take a day trip to Ellensburg.  Make a big game hunt out of it for him.  Lots of yotes.  Might be an experience he will never forget.
