Sounds like fun, good luck!  I went out on the Slammer once, we made it as far as the bar and got turned around by the coast guard.  Hopefully you'll have better luck.

Heard its been good fishing if you can get out. I know the forecast the other day was calling for 3-4' wind waves and 11' swells on sunday.  :yike:

My old HVAC professor's son runs the Slammer.  The guy knows what he is doing!  Great boat to fish on.

My whole family went to Westport on August 16th. We went on the Gold Rush.  It was a fun trip. It might be hard to believe but the fishing was so good it almost wasn't fun !  Our boat caught our limit of 40 fish in under an hour.  I caught 5 natives and 4 keepers.

littlebuf give me a call if you come over here and bring your bow I have some bulls you might want to see. The fishing has been unreal this year on friday the charters fished at G.H. only 3 miles out and they caught humbolt squid on the boat and limited for 12 people and were in by 10;30.
