Good Gunsmith in the Tri-cites area

Looking for a good gunsmith in the tricities area. I am thinking about having a gun glass bedded or doing the work myself.

Do a search here for glass bedding or pillar bedding.. Some decent theads.

I don't use that guys epoxy, but I prefer Brownels Acraglass and make my own pillars.

Once you do it the first time, you'll wonder why you didn't do it long ago. It's really easy.

  I appreciate the info. I making a trip up to Cabela's in Post Falls today. I'll check out the supplies. I have seen different video of glass bedding on youtube, and it doesn't look too hard. I just don't want to screw it up.

Hole in the Wall had a guy doing work at their store , very reasonable prices. it's been a couple of years since I had work done but you could give them a call.

I appreciate the information. The gun I was thinking about glass bedding is a Weatherby Mark V Ultralight weight in a .270 Win caliber. It has a aluminum bedding plate which should eliminate the need to glass bed.  I was hoping that by having a bedding job done, it would tighten the target groups up a little. The other rifle I might glass bed is a Remington Model 700 BDL in a 7mm Rem Mag, but it shoots very tight groups (even with me behind the gun) with reloads of Nosler 150gr E-tips that I nearly finished fine tuning. So I hate to mess with it.

Another Gunsmith I heard of is Jerry Blacksmith in Badger Canyon. Heard he does glass bedding and trigger work.

Anytime. I really like my Remington 700xcr. It is in a 270wsm. So far out of the five mule deer I have taken has been one shot kills from 85yds. to 550yds. Only thing that has been done to it has been a 2 pound trigger pull job and a Watts single stack box magazine installed.
