shooting practice--tri cities
« on: September 07, 2009, 12:50:56 AM »

There's a shooting range near the tri-cities, but it's only open to public and members during shooting competitions. I need to get some range time in, and I'd like to work at 100, 200, and 300 yds without driving all the way to selah.

Anyone know of a spot near the tri-cities? (there has to be somewhere, for pete's sake!)

out past finley,  go all the way to the end of chemical drive, take a right at the T in the road,   and take a left on the far side of the railroad overpass.  stay on that road for about 5-6 miles,  and you'll see an open range shooting area,   no buildings or anything,  just a feild with little self setup shooting areas,   oh  its on the left side of the road

Sept. 19th at 9:00am TCMSA Gun Club will be having a Public Hunter's Sight In day. Take HWY 12 to Kahlostus Ext. Go North 2.5 miles and hang a right at bottom of draw. There is a tree next to the gate. Go past the first gravel pit which is the Police Range  and follow the gravel road till you find a railroad car, single wide trailer and covered benches. Range has 100yds and 200yds.
Nothing like a Remington model 700xcr.
