Are there scouting tactics I should be aware of? I am hunting the Roosevelts over on the Peninsula.

You're hunting early season? If so try going out at night and listening for bugles.

Check out the harvest reports, you'll be very disappointed with what you find for the Olympic Peninsula !!!
