After all that work hopefully the dog will use it. If not if he has little kids they can use it as a playhouse until they get to big. Of course if the kids go in it the dog probably will too. May be the only time he will use it

He added a comp shingle room and the dog LOVES it.
he sleeps in it and hangs out on the porch till my brother gets home.

Nope he chewed on the front step for a day or so and now he just sleeps and sit on the porch of it.

That's the best you can do, is to provide the best care.
Sometimes they just don't appreciate it. Or they rather prefer to decorate their own house.
