Big10gauge,
You aren't going to make it easy to catch! As far as my "scale" goes. I stepped on the bathroom scale and then stepped on it again holding the dog. I'm wondering if that thing looses accuracy when it gets over 300#s?
I mean really, how accurate does it need to be for people weighing that much?
I have a pack of 4 that have been too close to some heifers that need dealt with. I might set up for them in the morning.
BTW, that top pic with his ears pinned back makes him look pissed....Although I suppose you ruined his day.

Sagebrush Stalker decided to join in on the party today, he dumped his first yote of the year, at about 60 yards. This yote showed up within 15 seconds and was dead 15 seconds later. After the shot the male yote that was following, exited very quickly without any shots fired. I quickly started calling using the coyote distress and another yote showed up about 1 min later. I sent a 50 grain ballistic tip over his head at about 110 yards, sh*t happens.
We had to weigh this yote, it was a female, weighting in at 32#, big for a female.
(Scale weighs 1# heavy so it is 32# not 33#.)

Great job big 10, happy to see you left that little 204 gun at home.
It's not the caliber, it's the 6 lb Double stage NM trigger that's the issue. I'm ordering a timiney then the mighty 204 will be back in action.

We dropped BullElk off in a new spot and SageBrush Stalker and I went down the road aways and took off from there. It took 4 miles of hiking and 20 sets to come up with one coyote. Called the dinner bell and it took about 8 minutes for this one to show up. Not the best day for shooting, but was a great day to be outside.

After a short walk (thanks Big10gauge & Sagebrush Stalker) I called in this one and only one, young female. After missing yesterday at 100 yds, I made sure I made the shot today at 95 yds.

Hey, You volunteered, what's 8 or 9 miles to a young guy like you. Oh that's right, you aren't quite so young anymore.
You did look a little tuckered when you got to the pickup. You don't look none too happy in the pic either.

I've been using 32 grain since I have about 300 loaded rounds but I plan on using 39 or 40 gr bullets when I use the others up even though I've haven't had any real issues with the 32 gr.

Dropped this little fella this morning, almost felt bad. I would have put him on the scale for smallest yote, but half his guts spilled out of the hole when I picked him up. Didn't seem fair.
This is also my first handload kill. 100gr 7mm hp at 3500fps. What a mess!

Duckfvr just sent me a cell picture. He couldnt take it anymore. He called and said we gotta get out, Sagebrush Assasins are getting a big lead. I had to work so he made a solo trip. His camera batteries are dead too.
Cell picture will do. Said he called him and the the dumb thing sat on his butt at 175 yards. He shot him in the chest.
PS- I think Duck is trying out the new fawn suit today, forget camo, he dressed up like dinner.
Just kidding Shad!
Leadslinger is on the board!!!!!

Here's a couple from today, The last picture is what happens when you trying to spot coyotes and not paying attention to the road.
At least it wasn't me. 2nd coyote was 17 lbs. Probably 4 lbs bigger than my smallest one I shot but didn't have my scales.
