" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Must be nice to have a buddy with a 27000 acre ranch!
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

I would eat tag soup just to be able to hunt and see some of the animals these big name/dollar hunts go too... :'(

Interesting. I watched and interview with him once and he loves fishing but wasn't very into hunting. Guess this was to good to pass up.

Ted Nugent owns the ranch adjoining Dubya's ranch in Crawford.  He could sneak next door and shoot just about any animal he wants and have the Motor City Madman drag it out, clean and grill it up for him.  Now that would be a good Spirit of the Wild episode. On that note, I wish dick Cheney would offer to take Obama bird hunting.    ;)
