Anyone want a hunting partner?
« on: October 02, 2009, 02:50:39 PM »
Hello all,

I am from Butte Montana and now reside in Sammamish off Pine Lake. I sure would love to get out her and get a bear, deer and elk this year but I have no idea where to go. I am willing to drive or help pay for gas. I am 34 male and can help gut, drag and all that. Just want to meet like minded people for my family and I. Wife is 33 and 10 year old son. He loves shooting, just getting him into hunting now.

Welcome to the site.

Don't take a lack of response too hard. It just takes us time to warm up.
Post some stories and pictures as well as some areas you might like to hunt and I am sure you will make some new hunting buddies.

Good luck.

Used to hunt in Montana eh?  Yeah I'm look'in for a podner but my son is much older than you.  I move in a much slower mode than you do I'm sure.

This is a great forum & you will find a lot of good people here.  Just takes time & at your age you've got it!  Good luck & good hunt'in.  By the way, I'll be hunt'in deer w/my son on the 17th & he's 40! Put things in perspective eh??

Thanks to Axle, let it fly and all those who have replied. Looks like I will be making new freinds and hunting memories from this great site. I have been out once with let it fly but didn't see anything. It is always nice just to get out.

Anyways thanks forum for a great site, keep up the great work. I am always looking to go hunting and fishing and willing to buy dinner and help pay for gas so just let me know.

Yes, hunting Montana has spoiled me I think. I go out here and try to find somewhere to hunt and it is a very different hunt. I will keep trying and I am confident I will be posting pics of a fresh bear kill before Nov 15th!!
