more ducks and geese
« on: December 26, 2007, 08:37:45 PM »
a few birds from the last couple of weekends and and a little extra camera angle  to include  my wall of shame in the back ground. took the geese and ducks on 12/15 and last weekend took hunter out. He was a new name after this hunt. The coots were swimming in the decoys most all day and he wanted to shoot one so bad he was about to come apart at the seams and my cous that was hunting with us started calling him cooter the rest of the day. we came up a little short on the ole green heads but it was really slow and about 10:30 the wigeon  started piling in there. we killed 16 bull wigeon in about 15 minutes to finish out our limits  and made something out what looked like was going to be a really slow day.
