Blacktail Trip
« on: October 11, 2009, 07:02:05 PM »
I took off for the weekend with a friend to teach him photography and shoot a few blacktails.  Tons of does, a few bucks, grouse, goats, and birds made it a fun weekend.  If anyone ever wants to make this trip with me let me know.  It's a fun day trip and a good place to learn a little photography.

Great pics Shawn. Would love to but hunting takes a precedence and opening weekend is coming!!

Awesome pics...I would be interested. Where abouts are you going. I think BT's are the most gorgeous deer in the world.

Great shots!

I'd love to learn from a Pro like you, but after having all my camera gear stolen a few years ago, I never replaced it.  I need to reinvest in a new rig.

Shawn, I am going to take you up on your offer.  Gonna show up with a disposable FILM camera.  :chuckle: :chuckle:

Seriously, as soon as we get everything settled down here with housing, and my overtime lets off, will be wanting to hook up with you, for a photo trip.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Time is starting to get really tight.  I may be able to do it one day next weekend.  PM me if you are interested and we'll see if we can make it work...

Heck Pope, gonna be longer than that, I was thinking maybe March or April,  :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:

I am on Mandatory overtime 6 days a week for the foreseeable future.  Plus trying to find a house.

However, will be definitely getting a hold of you once things slow down.

The only problem with that is they aren't rutting and they don't have horns...   :chuckle:
