brennanmp,

You live in Ferndale right?  Where do you purchase archery equipment?  Dave's in Lynden would be a good place to start.  If you need a few supplies, head in there and talk to some of the folks.  Bill, or Dave might give you some ideas.  There are lots of places from Ferndale to the mountain and in between.  Are you new to archery hunting?

I do live in the Ferndale area.  I am somewhat new to the bow hunting and very new to hunting in this area.  I generally have exclusively hunted in Eastern Washington.  Dave's Sporting Goods is a good resource?  A couple of people have advised me to hunt around the refineries, are those good locations?

Nice archery shop in Bow/edison area. Knowlegable and friendly people. I work at one the refineries and the surounding land by BP is owned by them. They do lease out the area across the street to WDFG. The area that they let you hunt on by both refineries and Intalco get hit pretty hard by hunters due to it being a release sight for pheasants. I do see some of deer sign. Even found a ground blind today while I was pheasant hunting, but I have never seen a deer while in any of those areas while bird hunting and have been hunting them for a long time. I could see it during early archery. I don't know :dunno: could stay in the thick *censored*? or just move thru in the night. PM me I can point you in some directions for both archery shop and places to hunt
