I was wondering about the haircut, too...would you have gotten that, anyway, or is that something you usually do to prep for a hunt?

I hope your getting beautified for the elk and not your hunting partner.

No that one is a little of both. i really hate my hair long during hunting season.  With not showering everyday i get the itchy hat hair....

Yeah, I'm flipping crap.  I usually try to shave off all of my hair before hunting, too.

Good luck.  I hunt that sometimes for late archery if there is a lot of snow.

If you skipped the liquour store you might have more success in the field.  I am not a prude and do drink alcohol but in my opinion it doesn't belong in elk camp when there is killing that needs to be done.  :twocents:

To each there own! I agree and dont usually partake until celebration time.

My uncle once told me a story about these guys who set up camp by his cabin. One year they brought a couple shrink wrapped pallet of beer over

Yeah, gotta have a little 'celebration' available.  I brewed up 5 gal of homebrew just for our 9 day camp this year.  It'll go great with steaks off the grill...

Nothing wrong with that at all.  Heck if guys wanna get flat blasted at camp because that is there vacation and there "get away", I don't care.  Long as it doesn't affect me or my hunting.  I'll have a few cold one's with dinner every night, but will be in bed in time to get up to go hunting every day.  Now when the meat is on the game pole, thats when the Pendletons or the Crown comes to town.......... ;)
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

Just tried that one myself recently.  Very nice.  If you like rye at all give Pikesville a try, very smooth and reasonably priced.  Its got a white label, and may not be everywhere...

Good Luck and be careful, the logging trucks on A2000 don't care much for hunters, allway keep your CP radio on channel 14 and tell them when you go up and down and what mile marker you have just passed ;)
