Man that thing has huge eyes in that one photo. Great shots. They do not bother the pheasants or chickens but those little buggers cost me 50plus quail last year

. They are so quick and smart that they hover over one end of the pen chasing all the quail to the other then while the quail have their heads sticking out of the 1 inch chicken wire the hawk will grab their head and pull it right off. It took me a while to figure out what was pulling the heads off in middle of the day. This year I wrapped the pens with either 1/2 inch wire or plastic. We will see if that helps.
