looking for a helping hand (L.T. Murry)
« on: November 03, 2009, 06:38:04 PM »
My father has been up Joe Watt canyon hunting with his any bull tag since Monday, he has seen nothing but cows and deer. We are thinking about tromping around Robinson canyon to look for some prospects. He is getting a little depressed, and he has never shot an elk, so i am looking for any information or just a general direction to head in that GMU. If anybody has reports of any branched bull sightings it would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to be one of those guys wanting to get into your honey hole, I am just trying to help the old man out.

Thank you in advance for any tips. :)

I spent all day around Robinson canyon today. Lots of people, some deer, and not one elk. Hopefully the other guys have some ideas for you.
