Anybody up for goin bear hunting
« on: November 05, 2009, 01:38:05 PM »
I Just moved to Mt Vernon. I live, sleep, and breathe hunting. I bought a non res bear tag planned on go in in October but spent a little to much time in Wyoming and colorado elk and deer hunting with the best of the west crew. I will Pay for gas and we can take my truck, just lookin for new hunting pals. I am free to go any day. Or if any one knows were i may have a good shot let me know. I am all about long range hunting. I am an avid archery hunter as well. I have been going up around baker lake and by darrington when i do get up there. Thanks

You're in the right area, but a little late in the year to find them easy. I am sure they are still up there. There are tons of spots to hunt around there. I would head high and try to work the snow line (snow level is dropping in a day or so to  like 2500 ft).

Good luck and welcome to Wa/the site.

welcome to the site, longrange7mm.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
