That is a great buck! I also have that tag and hunted this weekend only seen 1 3x2 and a few 2 points Hunted up high yesterday down low today no big bucks have came down yet. talked to 3 other tag holders 1 had been there for 7 days and not seen anything bigger than a 3 point. Kind of disappointing figured I would at least see more 3 points going back friday and will be there until the 20th

I live right across the river from the chewuch unit and see many nice bucks over there, thats where we run our cows. Don't be dicouraged, if you do any kind of hiking at all, you can come out with a buck of a lifetime, hold out, it will pay off!

Ho Humm, weak backs, not much width, i'd let him walk.....
Yeah and i drive a prius... NOT
Nice freaking buck.....
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Seen pictures of this deer from my Dad yesterday. He said "Biggest deer I ever saw." I couldn't tell how big it really was by his little digital camera. Seeing it in this photo I see now that its a true monster and that I Know the young lady (I went to High School with her) who killed this awesome buck. Congrat's to her. That is a trophy.
If it's smok'in it's cook'in. If it's black it's done.

unit #218 is chewuch.  #224 is perrygin.   I would be real curious wich one this deer came out of? Our family have been die hard hunters in the 218 area for the last 30+ years.  I know those sob's are in there.  We managed to get one in 2006.  Anyways nice buck!!!

Very few and far between in any of the Okanogan County units on a buck with genes of that caliber.  Amazing.  Biggest I've seen in several years.  Congrats to the gal on a once in a lifetime deer. :)
