very sad
« on: November 09, 2009, 02:06:45 PM »
this is a link to ebay and to me its sad to see a deer of this size sold for as much money as it is going for. i dont know if it is someone who needs the money but dang. i would much rather see it donated to a museum or donated to a sporting goods store.  :twocents:

This is a beautiful 42 point Deer Head Mount. He was raised on our farm. This is his 4 year old set. He died at the age of 6. This mount scores 286"BC gross score. This will be a great addition to your selection. Great conversation piece. Free Shipping!!

it seems that they are in the deer farming business.
i don't find it sad. it's their business.

Those "sheds" look like reproduction antlers to me or they are faded sheds that have been retouched - look at the coloration of the bases (poor airbrushing!)

My thoughts exactly.

It is their business, why not, if they can find some one to pay them 8000.00 then so be it. It just gives them money to continue on
