north river report

well just got back from my elk hunt in the north river unit, seen 35 cows and calves and 1 spike in 5 days of hunting. sign wasnt there like last season. hunted back locked gate rds. thankgod for my popup blind . the weather was pretty crappy. but all in all had agood hunt saw some nice bucks and man they are ruttin hard. i saw 2 bulls taken that i know of a 3 pt and a4pt. very little shooting. but i got some good info for next season. thanks for your time   strut

Wich side of the north river were you hunting???We hunt the south side during archery .I think you saw more than we did in a week......
