a step towards justice (update)
« on: November 13, 2009, 06:18:15 PM »
just an update on the situation from this post that i posted a couple weeks ago

there is a psyco anti-hunter that lives next to one of the propertys that i jump shoot. every time i go out there he starts unloading 10-15 shells into the air to scare away any birds that might be there.  well after severel years of this i finally decided to turn this guy in so friday and saterday i went and jumped this ditch and sure enough both days he came out to play and both days i called and reported him . well today i got a call from a fish and wildlife officer and gave him all of the facts and he told me that he would head out there and talk to the guy  after he agreed that what i was doing was legal and safe hunting.
it may take awhile to stop this guy but at least i know now that the fish and wildlife department are with me and were taking a step in the right direction

I went out and walked the ditch with the warden today. the psyco came out to play perfectly and gave us a prime show.  afterwards the warden talked to the guy and showed him the badge and told him that it is a gross misdamener harrassing hunters. after listing to a sob story about how the psyco is tired of people shooting buck shot over his head and how he is planing on starting a tree farm he aggreed that it is not worth it to continue harrassing the hunters. the warden told the guy that if he gets another complaint about him then he would write him up for hunter harassment which is a huge fine :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL: it looks like victory is finaly here :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

good job. difference between hunters who are losing their rights, and luckin' fiberals who are taking them? all to often convervative hunters roll with the punches. Squeaky wheel gets the grease. Good job on this one, but seriously, I don't think you should be shooting buckshot over that guys head anymore ok?

Way to go the more times we bridge the gap with wdfw the better we stand in having them back waterfowlers. As some of the most honest people I wish we could hear more stories like this. Think any paper would print this story?

Good deal. It's great that the guy actually listened to the gamie. Are you the only guy that frequents that area to hunt? Now just keep an eye out for other guys that may actually be being reckless and shooting towards the guys house, not to be an ass to other hunters, but maybe there are guys being reckless in the area. Or the guy is just nuts... :chuckle:
