Halloween Coyote
« on: November 15, 2009, 11:55:24 AM »
Dropped this fem. dog @165 yrds with my 30-06, 150gr fusion round.  In through the chest @the left armpit and out the whole right side.  A beach ball sized exit wound.

It was 7:15am Id been in my stand for an hour. I started running an Estrus Bleat. After 5 min. of calling this pup came on a rope. I spotted her @ 250yrds. I tucked my call into my coat and muffled the sound till she got into 165yrds. Wham mo.....

I had to move her. Got down from my stand and couldn't believe how bad she smelled!  Had to drag her to the other side of the property. Not to mention respraying my camo after.
A pat on the back is just shy of a kick in the ass..
