Titan's Bearpaw experience!
« on: November 19, 2009, 12:00:32 PM »
The Titan Outdoors crew headed off to Colville WA last week for our first ever guided deer hunt. We have never been on a guided hunt of any kind before and didn't know what to expect. Well, let me tell you!!!, It was an absolute blast... Dale & Tara Denney are outstanding people and run a first class guide service. Tara is up long before you are to insure you are well fed before you head out for your morning hunt. When you return for lunch,,, Yep you guessed it, its there for you as well. Eat, make plans for the afternoon hunt and head back out. Come back and get treated to a nice diner, go over the next mornings plan, hang out in the lodge with the other hunters and share the day's stories, play some pool down stairs and finally turn in for the night and head to your cabin for a good nights sleep. The hunting is nothing like any of us expected at all, having never been on a guided hunt before we didn't know what we were going to be in for. We know how to hunt and don't need anyone to hold our hand's and thank goodness,,,, they don't!  :chuckle:  The guides are very knowledgeable and they know what they are doing that's for sure so listening to there knowledge is key. But unless you really want them to, there not going to hold your hand  :chuckle: ! It's just like hunting with a good friend who knows the area and has some really good spots to go to.  :rockin: The hunting was second to none and neither were the caliber of bucks we saw. We passed on several good bucks ( do to camera situations ) and still ended up with two respectable whitetail kills on film to add to the upcoming Addicted 3 DVD  :brew: . Our guide Brandon even offered to film for me on my hunt so Adam and John could cover another area so we could have a better Chance of tagging out. All I can say is that if you have never been on a guided hunt before then don't knock it till you try it. GO!!! Bearpaw offers private land hunts, public land hunts, guided and unguided! The accommodations are outstanding, the people there are wonderful and your going to have a good time. It's well worth it. There website is www.bearpawoutfitters.com  check them out, you won't regret it I am sure! Hope everyone has had a great season so far.

We shall see, John is an awesome hunter, a great guy and he fit right in with us. He pick up filming and was a natural in front of the camera. The spot is open for him if he wants it. Filming can be a big commitment so we all want to make sure that's what he wants before he commits to it.

I hunted this time  :rockin: . Adam came on the trip just to film John and I. We ran two cameras while we were there and our guide actually filmed for a bit so we could split up and cover more ground.

Thanks for posting Chris. I had a great time. I was able to shoot my first Whitetail with a gun, and got to meet some awesome people. Bearpaws outfit was amazing to say the least. The only bad thing was not having more time to hunt :P :P. A top noch outfit in my book. I am making plans to take my dad back next year!!!

So I passed a rig on the freeway the other night coming into E-Burg at the Yakima intersection.  It was camo with Titan outdoors on the backend.  Was that you guys?  I had this urge to flag you down and talk hunting, I had some big buck pics on the camera.  I resisted though as I didn't want you to think some freak was after ya.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
