Anybody know how much snow is in the valley up the Nile/Little Naches area? Heading that way tommorrow for the late archery elk. Thanks for the help.

This should help a little. It's a link to the camera at Whistlin Jacks in Cliffdell.

Can you get there from the Yakima side?

You can get thru. There letting traffic around the Nile loop as well I heard they have 410 open but its a delay ridden route carved in dirt. Im sure about Nile loop, not 100% on the 410...and if Im wrong, there is someone eager to let me know I bet.   ;)

Just an FYI - I don't think that camera at Whistling Jacks is working at the moment.  That is the same pic that has been showing since I started looking early yesterday morning.  :bash:

I will be over friday morning.

Look for the "Barbie Jeep" and say  :hello:

I know they were laying black top on the Nile Loop Rd during modern elk season. They should be finished with the black top by now, they were working fast.

about 4" of sloppy wet slush on the lit. naches road, then it gets real deep real fast as you move up the hills.  Snow was extremely wet and soft today when we tried to go up Fife's.

I wish I was in the Little Naches unit right now chasing some big bucks around.  Its my favorite hunt of the year and I'm at home going through withdraws.  I guess that's what I get for using my deer tag on Sept 1st.  Good luck to all the guy :'(s out hunting
